Rodeo

This is a picture of the kids in the parking lot before the rodeo. We took the kids to see the Jonas Brothers. Richard really loved the rodeo part and took lots of pictures. Emily loved the concert and took lots of pictures of that. I think the favorite part for everyone was the bull riding. It was a long day, but we all had a great time.

Sock Hop

Kids in order from left to right...Hannah, Emily, Kayleigh, and Richard. This was toward the end of the night. All kids has a great time.

We went to Fuddrucker's to eat when the Sock Hop was over.

This is one of my best friends Shelley. She has been a rock for me at school and I love teaching with her. She may also be my son's future mother-in-law...gotta practice.

Richard turns 7

This is my 7 year old boy. He has lots of missing teeth. From Christmas Day to his birthday, he lost 3 teeth in as many weeks. As you can tell, he was very excited about his party.

This is Mr. Speedy (Richard). He is very quick on the rollerblades. He loves going to the rink to skate...he will go round and round, then come and get a drink from me. Emily loves it too...mom just sits and reads and then cheers them on when needed.

Ricky is assisting Richard with putting the socks and skates on his feet. He can't seem to get them tight enough for comfort. Emily can get hers on but does need help getting them tight. I myself do not skate...we all know I am a big klutz.

The Colvin Christmas

We celebrated the Colvin Christmas on the 1st, schedules were had to coordinate this year. This is a picture of the kids...We all had a good time. The kids played outside on the jungle gym for a long time. We ate Chick-fil-a and Keith made Black-eyed Peas and cabbage for us.

Christmas Morning

Since the kids got the DS from MeeMaw, mom and dad sprang for some of the games. Richard got Star Wars and that dog one. He gets to pick a breed and have a virtual pet. We were all up bright and early for Santa. We also open our gifts to and from each other.
Emily got a bike from us and Richard got new rollerblades. Santa brought us all a Wii...mom got the Wii Fit (which she loves). The kids love it.

Christmas with the Tyra's

On Christmas Eve, we had Christmas at Richard and Roberta's. We went to Rancho's to eat and then we opened gifts. Richard got GI Joe men, the big ones and the old faithful, clothes. He was actually excited about the clothes, he has grown and needed longer pants. The last gift he opened was a Nintendo DS. He wanted one so bad. Emily got clothes, come arts and crafts and a Nintendo DS. Both kids were so excited. We came home and got ready for Santa.
